The Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth is working with the Earthshot Prize to define and promote the idea of shared economic prosperity within environmental sustainabilty.

Protecting the environment shouldn’t jeopardise the livelihoods of vulnerable communities.A new wave of environmental innovators are building financially sustainable business models that benefit people and the planet.

THE CREATIVE

We worked with CFIG to to identify partners, shape the story and create compelling content.This saw us sending a film crew to the Philippines to capture stories about Coast 4C, a 2024Earthshot Prize finalist, considered to be one of the best in class with regards to a model that promotes shared economic prosperity. We captured a large amount of film, photography and stories to enable multiple content deliverables to communicate the concept.

THE IMPACT

The film premiered at CFIGs Global Inclusive Growth Summit in Washington DC where it was played to financial and political industry leaders. The Earthshot Prize used the content extensively across its social media channels. The content was compiled into a report and microsite titled “Unlocking Critical Finance for Climate & Economic Resilience”.
